Our Story
What started out as a hobby blossomed into a passionate career and endeavor to transform and create meaningful and impactful spaces that reflect our clients’ unique essence and stories. Zabuli Studio is an Interior Design Firm and Artelier Store, specializing in a minimal, organic and modern contemporary aesthetic inspired by Wabi Sabi, African, Scandinavian and Artdeco design. Zabuli is first and foremost an interior design firm, growing into a multi-disciplinary design house and content hub since its inception.
Our Style
The Zabuli Aesthetic: Modern Organic
The essence of our aesthetic is inspired by a philosophy of minimalism, openness and organic freeform with a minimal environmental footprint. Our firm embraces a variety of design aesthetics, but as we grow, we are drawn to specific combinations of organic colors, nature-inspired shapes and forms, accented by rich fabric and textures. This style draws inspiration from our love for art, minimalism, muted colours, robustness of the African landscape and the freedom of unconstrained living.
The Artelier and Retail Store
Product Line & Collection
Inspired by our design style, we create bespoke designs for and between projects sometimes as a solution to locally unavailable designs we feel we just have to use. We decided to share our products on our online boutique offering home decor, fixture, and furniture collections.
Charity Mubeezi
With a passion and keen eye for fusing form and function to craft exceptional interiors, Charity leads Zabuli Studio's creative vision. Her love for light-filled nature-inspired livable spaces translates into timeless, functional spaces that reflect each client's unique story. Charity is passionate about exceeding client expectations, pushing design boundaries and fostering a collaborative environment; inspiring a team that elevates the art of interior design.
